| WHAT IS BARBERSHOP?
Barbershop music is 4-part a capella singing. Which means our chorus is made up of four sections that each sing a different note to make a chord, and we do it all without any instrumental accompaniment!
Lead usually sings the melody line. Bass sings the low foundation for each chord. Tenor usually sings all the highest notes. Baritone sings the notes that make the chord just right.
Whether you like to sing harmony, melody, way down low or way too high-- we have a part for you! We sing music from the roaring twenties, all the way up to modern day. Join us at Tuesday night rehearsals to check out what it's all about. Visitors are welcome any time! | |
